Early in May the Vermont Dance Alliance put out a call for submissions for their Traces Virtual Water Dance Film Festival.  Since I’d recently visited a local forest where the snow melt was running fast down the mountain streams, I invited my friend and dance collaborator, Marie Fourcaut, to join me on a water adventure to film her response to the moving water.  We produced a short film entitled Ablutions, submitted it for consideration in the film festival and were immensely gratified to have it accepted.  By the time this newsletter is published, the film festival will have ended, but you can watch Ablutions here.
