Two Exhibits

The last few months have been very exciting for me as a photographer.  I’m so pleased to share with you information about two exhibits of my work in the Upper Valley!

The first one is a remake of a collection I’d hung in collage form at Northern Stage in White River Junction, VT back in 2015.  The images in this collection, entitled White River Junction Treasure Hunt,  were all taken within a three block radius around Main Street in WRJ.  This time they are hanging as separate images at the Zollikofer Gallery in the Hotel Coolidge and will be up until the end of March.  We’re having an artists reception Friday, March 6 from 5:00 to 7:00 during the this week’s White River Junction First Friday celebrations.  Please stop by and appreciate the way the images truly stand out on the newly painted black walls of the back gallery at the hotel.

I’m especially excited about the second exhibit, which is a solo show at the AVA Gallery in Lebanon, NH.  The show, entitled Solitude, runs from March 13 to April 10 in the Member Gallery.  It features images of the Red Chair (frequently featured on this blog) and includes images of an intrepid band of dancers/movers and a video of a group adventure into the woods.

You might enjoy reading my Artist Statement which chronicles the journey this chair has taken me on. If you’re in the area, please do stop by to see the exhibit.  In addition to the opening reception on March 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, I’ll be giving an Artist’s Talk on Thursday evening April 9 at 6:00 pm, which might…  just might… feature some of the dancers/movers performing live with the art.
