If you were to be able to zoom into each of the nobs on this metal plate, you’d see that each one of them reflects the world around in an identical way.  There’s no variation in the nobs, and slight variations in the world around them.

I remember several years ago hearing the term “PLUs” (People Like Us).  It seems that rather than spending time with diverse perspectives, we all seem to gravitate towards PLUs.  I don’t think it was always this way.  And, I do think that this trend toward PLUs has led to the divisive polictical arena we find ourselves in right now.

Yesterday and today I had the opportunity to watch a community of dolphins do something unusual according to the local folks in the area.  We don’t really know what they were doing, but they were very active.  At one point there were between 4 and 5 dolphins circling around.  I was able to capture a few shots with my camera…
